Exercise

Aerobic exercise is also a crucial part of a woman's daily routine. This type of exercise keeps your circulation moving and helps the lymph glands to release toxins. This is an overall recipe for radiance and good health. Any form of exercise will do, but care must be taken not to over-strain the body.
Walking is one of the best long-term methods of exercise that is low impact on the joints and high impact on the health. Swinging the arms balances the hemispheres of the brain. Walking can also be used as a powerful meditation.

Water

It is extremely important to drink a sufficient amount of water during the day. Our bodies are an amazing 80% water. Don't wait until you are thirsty to drink water. Drink 8 - 10 glasses of fresh water a day. It is important to drink a small amount of water just before going to bed, so that it can circulate in your body while you sleep, helping you to remove excess toxins first thing in the morning.

Cat Naps

One of the easiest things a woman can do for herself is to take 2 or 3 eleven minute naps during the day. When you feel your energy levels dipping during the day, take a few minutes to lie down and take a short cat nap. You will wake up feeling amazingly refreshed and rejuvenated. Take care not to sleep too long or you could feel lethargic. Enjoy this short, sweet sleep.

Peanut Hour

The best way to deal with stress is to share your problems, feel heard and understood. It is important to have a circle of friends in which you can do this. The age-old term "peanut hour" comes from the therapeutic practice of Indian women getting together in the afternoon for tea and peanuts - an activitiy that a woman can not do without. Encourage this with your own trusted circle of friends.

Kegel Care

Kegel exercises support the ancient yogic practices of contracting. This is the daily habit of holding and release the flow of urine whenever you use toilet facilities. Try to contract at least 8 times during urination. This strengthens your kegel muscles and prevents leakage during pregnancy and old age.
