Conscious
Conception
Dedicate
yourself to uplift, serve, and honor your partner as
you create a peaceful and secure home for your child.
Talk about how becoming parents will challenge both of
you
as you nurture your child throughout your lives: spiritually,
emotionally, professionally, financially, and socially.
Yogic
teachings encourage a couple to prepare in a holistic
manner: body, mind, and spirit. Daily practice of meditation,
yoga, chanting, reading inspiring books and listening
to uplifting music can support your peace of mind.
Source
of Your Strength
You
will be challenged as your child’s teacher. It
is an incredible responsibility to care for, inspire,
and teach a child 24/7. Remember you will also need to
nurture
your own self: meditate, practice yoga, exercise,
nap, visit with friends, and eat well. The creativity
and strength
to
serve this responsibility can be awakened when
you tune into being a woman.

Soul
Chooses the Vessel
The
radiance and consciousness of the woman is the magnetic
energy that attracts what soul will be granted the
gift of the human body. The subtle body of the incarnating
soul is attracted to, or one could say, electromagnetically “chooses” the
vessel. The woman, the father, the longitude and latitude,
and time and space all play into this earth plane attraction.
"
When a mother is pregnant, the kind of soul she can accept
depends on her mental attitude. And then there is another
beauty that within the realm of your belly, which is your
pregnancy, you can totally transform the soul. The soul
is pure...but the subtle body carries the karma of the
previous life. A mother can totally purify the subtle body." -

Soul
Incarnate
One
hundred-twenty days after conception, yogic tradition
honors a woman, as she becomes a mother. On the 120th
day, the Creative Force grants full incarnation to
the soul, and the woman’s navel point becomes active
to nurse the child’s soul. Previously, the
incarnating soul has been subtlely linked to the
growing cells
in the womb. The woman is the vehicle for the soul
to incarnate;
now she is the mother, the one who nurses. Tradition
counsels that the couple wait to socially announce
their pregnancy until the 120th day.
From
Conception to the 120th Day
Before
the 120th day, the incarnating soul is still unaffected
by the limitations and influences of
the earth. After the
120th day of pregnancy until the umbilical cord
is cut, the subconscious mind of your child is formed.
While your
child is in the womb, you are the vibratory receptor
for your child.

Mother
Erases Child’s Karmic Limits
The
vibratory frequency of the woman has a momentous
affect on the entering soul. Her vibratory frequency
can totally purify the subtle body of the new
being.
Because this soul has been attracted to her frequency, when she uplifts her
frequency, she can “erase” specific karmic limits so the new being does NOT
need to play out these karmas. She consciously can utilize yoga, meditation,
prayers, or conscious realization.
Mother
the First Teacher
Your
child first learns from your state of consciousness
while in the womb. Everything
you consciously experience, your state of
mind, your relationship
to the world
and your rapport to your child, are all transmitted to your child and
become the foundation of your child’s subconscious,
which is the root of his/her personality.
You
remain the primary teacher for your child after
birth until the third year. You however are connected
with your child throughout life.

The
forty days after birth are significant for the mother
and child, as they adjust their subtle, emotional and
physical energies. Yogic tradition and numerous family-oriented
cultures around the globe honor and nurture them both
during these first six weeks. These sacred days set the
tone for a comforting and caring relationship among the
child and the family, and rejuvenate the mother for breast-feeding,
and child care.
The
keys for an enriching and recuperative Forty Day experience
are:
*Preparation of the environment
*Coordinating food staples, household items, and family
activities before the birth
*Supportive home assistance: organize supportive family members or hire assistance
for basic family chores (shopping, laundry, cleaning and cooking) and sibling
care.
*Commitment of the family to nest at home: Yogis recommend that the mother
and child remain at home during these days with no or limited visitors. This
is their
special sacred time |
