If
you are menstruating abnormally, try pepper tea by
boiling 1 Tbsp of black peppercorns in milk.
To
lessen the intensity of menstrual cramps, steep 4
or 5 slices of fresh ginger in boiling water until
the water is a golden color and drink as a tea. Add
honey and milk for a soothing treat.
Take
an iron supplement during your cycle if you have
heavy cramps, or eat lots of green leafy vegetables
to replace your iron. Regular lecithin, calcium and
vitamins B and E are helpful as well.
Sit
in a hot bath up to your navel point and massage
your ovaries to relieve cramps. It is best to eat
lightly during the heavy days of your cycle. This
will relieve some of the pressure in the abdomen.
Stimulating
your glandular system by exercising vigorously when
you are not menstruating will reduce stress and release
toxins stored in the body. Make it part of your routine
to exercise and sweat every day.
