Saints and sages have taught mankind that whatever elements are found in the constitution of the Infinite Universe will also be found in the human body. The Universe is the entire Cosmos; and we are a microcosm of the entire Cosmos...

Message from the 3HO Chief Executive Officer
Sat Nam,
The Summer Solstice Sadhana Celebration just keeps getting better and better, deeper and deeper, with a profound experience of love and community.
As a result of working in a collective manner throughout the 3HO Global Community, Summer Solstice Sadhana continues to grow in attendance each year, with more countries participating each year, and the event experience continues to bring us home to that place within, filled with unconditional love, kindness, compassion, forgiveness, and patience.
This year there were more than 2,000 visitors – representing 35 countries – at Guru Ram Das Puri. Solstice Sadhana’s are the physical expression of 3HO: A Global Community of Living Yoga for and with each other.
On Friday, July 3, Anand Singh, 3HO Events Manager, and I went to visit the Rainbow Gathering for the day, neither of us having been to this event before. There were over 10,000 people, and what I found most inspiring was the camping area dedicated to practicing yoga. There were many yogis there who attended Summer Solstice and they shared with us how they were being the Beings of Light by keeping up with their practice, teaching others Kundalini Yoga technology, singing kirtan around the fire, and waking up for early morning sadhana. God bless them for sharing light and love with so many in the unique environment that which they served. This is what we are here to do as students and Teachers; to serve, uplift, and be the light. “A Teacher is an institution for help, for service, for raising people's consciousness, and granting them the Heavens. A Teacher is the guarantor that the other person’s life becomes heavenly.” Yogi Bhajan
This year’s focus for Summer Solstice Sadhana, the Water Tattva, has very auspicious timing. As I was exploring this month’s horoscope, I learned that we have two eclipses this month. The effects of these eclipses run deep in our relationships, both with ourselves and collectively. To read more about these eclipses, click here.
It is my honor and great pleasure to be a member of the 3HO Global Community and I look forward to manifesting our future together and being there for one another and the world at large as we enter into the new Age. What a great blessing, opportunity, and destiny we have been given.
In divine,
Bhajan Kaur

Summer Solstice Sadhana Celebration in Review
“Summer Solstice was a mind-blowing experience. The beauty of coming together with a truly globally-represented group of people in a sacred environment where everyone has the goal of uplifting themselves and others was an awesome, elevating celebration and affirmation of the goodness of humanity.”

“Summer Solstice is a precious opportunity to experience humanity's movement into the Aquarian Age, which Yogi Bhajan described as the last part of the Kaliyug. It is a giant ashram where we see the best of ourselves and others as we learn to live with and for each other, rather than at each other.”
Save the date and see you at Winter Solstice! December 19-25, 2009 in Lake Wales, Florida. Registration opens September 1 at 3HO.org
Tuning Into Summer Solstice Sadhana
Complete Adi Mantra (Angels and Animals)
By Mahan Kalpa Singh from Bloomington, IN, USA
“I journeyed to Summer Solstice this year to have a love affair with myself and that I did. The workshops, sadhana, and White Tantric Yoga® provided me with the time and space to explore, adore and fall in love with the essence of who I am: Har Haray Haree - Wahe Guru!”

New Kundalini Yoga Book Release
by Siri Atma S. Khalsa, M.D., Española, NM USA
WHAT TO DO WITH THE MIND: An Excerpt from Waves of Healing: Listening to the Voice of the Soul
Your mind is a link between Infinity and you.
When the soul has to separate from Infinity, it wants to know how it can connect with God while on Earth. The answer is, through your mind. Your mind can take you to Infinity and your mind can take you into the pit of negativity.

Narayan Kriya: Clearing and Clarity for Prosperity

Posture: Easy Sitting Pose. Tuck the elbows into the body with the forearms angled up so that the hands are at the level of the Heart Center, chest width or slightly wider. The hands are in Gyan Mudra, palms up.
Eyes: 1/10th open at the tip of the nose
Mantra: Take a deep breath and sing the mantra in a monotone on one breath. Take a deep breath between each recitation of the mantra.
Sat Narayan Hari Narayan Hari Narayan Hari Hari
(Pronunciation: sut naraayun haree naraayan haree naraayan haree haree)
To End: Inhale deeply and hold. Exhale. Repeat twice more.
Time: 11 Minutes
After doing this meditation for 11 minutes, chant Wahe Guru for 3 minutes. Hands are in Gyan Mudra at the knees or relaxed in the lap, right hand resting on the left, with palms up. Chant it in a monotone long form—Wha-Hay-Guroo—with equal time given to each of the three parts of the mantra. This seals the effects of the practice.
Comments: As you hold the breath, visualize your relationships and bless, forgive and understand. Use this breath to heal these relationships; use the mantra to knit back together any tears within the fabric of your relationships.
Other Tips for Success: The 'r' is a quick, percussive sound, almost like 'duh'; the sound is dental, using the tip of the tongue against the palate, for example, the name, Tara, would be pronounced 'tu-duh'. The 'a' in many mantras sounds like a short 'u', for example, sat is pronounced like hut.
